  • Good posture gives you confidence.
According to a study by the European Journal of Social Psychology, ‘upright postures’ are correlated with confidence–and good posture has a significant affect on how you feel.
  •  Slouching leads to negative thoughts.
The same study found that participants with ‘doubtful postures’ or slumping were not only more likely to feel badly about themselves but they also second guessed their own thoughts.
  • Good posture increases productivity.
The mind-body connection is real, and some studies have found that you’ll feel more energized when you stand tall versus when you slouch. When you’re more energized, you can find focus and get work done. Fake it till you make it!
  • It’s good for you!
According to Harvard Health, correct posture improves your balance and reduces the chance for injuries while working out. Not to mention the fact that your back, shoulders, and neck will feel better!
